Phew!! I'm glad that year is over
Hi All
After taking a bit of break last weekend we are starting to build up slowly to bring you a most magnificient 2010 ahead. Thank God/Allah/Zeus/ Papa Smurf or whoever you believe in, that 2009 is behind us and we can all look into the new decade with optimism or even just your BYOB bag in hand. Okay, we are now nearly at 1000 members for the BYOB and by and large everyone has deemed it a huge success, however it still amazes us that some people complain about having to pay in, just to make it abundantly clear, when you pay in you are supporting this wonderful facility which fosters encourages and promotes self expression through music, dance, theatre, visual art and perfomance of any and every type. The money recieved is not profit it just pays for the continued existence of the facility, but we don't want you to come as a charitable gesture we want you to come because we put on the best shows on offer anywhere in this country in probably the most beuatiful, intimate and acoustically brilliant space around. To date we have had such great acts as Jack L , Aslan , The Coronas , Cathy Davey, Duke Special, Eddi Reader, Dirty Pretty Things, Declan O'Rourke, Mick Flannery, David Kitt, Neil Dellamere, Andrew Maxwell, Pj Gallagher, Bruiser Theatre with classics such as The Government Inspector, Oh What a Lovely War, as well as putting on our own production of The Wiz. And with our new in house Theatre Production Company up and running lots more plays will be staged here and also our soon to be announced dates for our panto/ comedy production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, will all be coming to you soon.
But for those of you who still believe paying 10 or 15 euro in is too much, here's the science bit:

A NIGHT OUT IN BRAY

Cost of drink 50euro (8 pints/spirit mixers, 2 shots)
