Well we have an ALTERNATIVE, and what's more it's completely FREE (yes, note the word FREE, come on we can't be any fairer: FREE!!!), and just as energetic and far more fun... dance that Christmas excess away this coming Friday 23rd with the oh so energetic music of Eric Noon and the Future Gypsies.
Basque country born, Erik Noon and The Future Gypsies (Drumbeat Doctors Pawel, Bass Setphen Saunders, Guitarwoman Christina Quill and Drumer Phil Saunton) play a fresh new sound inspired from a mix of alternative, traditional, raggae, country and soul music ....... nothing stops them, not even languages as songs go from English to Spanish or French and Basque.The band is an eclectic mix of nationalities and cultures. After a very successful summer and critically acclaimed performances at the Shakefest, Solas Festival and 2008 Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures, Erik Noon and The Future Gypsies have stepped onto the big stage. Already very active on the Dublin scene, they have given a taste of a new multicultural music in Ireland.
If you feel like continuing to dance once the band have packed up we have a DJ set to keep you mooving and grooving until 2.30 am. So come on down and remember if you're in for the band your in for the night. Looking forward to a great night...
