Billed as the best live disco band around, Boogie Nights will take you on a magical journey to an era when those funky flared trousers and afros were the coolest thing in town.

A legend in their own town, The Universal Funk Orchestra turn their eclectic eye upon reggae for their November gig. In particular, the classic 1972 soundtrack The Harder They Come, spearheaded by Jimmy Cliff, and also featuring such Jamaican legends as Toots & The Maytals, Scotty and Desmond Dekker.
To mix a little ska into proceedings, UFO and their army of guest musicians and singers will also be taking on the likes of The Specials, The Beat and Madness. Make it reggae, indeed!

UP FOR A LAUGH
For those of you that have been to our live music, you know we bring the best bands around.

Forget the Recession!
OK folks, things are hotting up at the Theatre.
This Wednesday 9.00 we return with The Live Sessions, trad, folk and contemporary music. This free event is proving a big attraction to musicians and punters alike, with the numbers likely to continue to increase to become Irelands largest session.

Thursday 8.00 is gonna be a chance to witness live two of the best original bands in the country in CODES. and More Tiny Giants. Those that have seen either will be rushing to enjoy them again, those that haven't better get their asses down because this night will be one not to forget.

Friday brings us the two of them from the Four of Us, an acoustic evening with Brendan and Declan Murphy bringing us their finest tunes from the last couple of decades. supported by up and coming band Orphan Code.
After this we party into the early hours with DJ Paul Byrne and 'The Craic was Nineties'.
